I had a little scare in life just before i turned 30 which turned my world upside down.

I gave up my office job and went back to college to train as a gardener, it was something i have always loved and i needed a new challenge.

In 2017 Neil my husband and i were lucky enough to find a small piece of land just outside of Exeter where we started a market garden growing vegetable, fruit and salads.

By the time 2020 came around we realised that to grow a successful market garden we needed a lot more space which we didn't have so needed to diversify.

We did some research and i had already been growing flowers for a few friends weddings so thought why not try growing flowers as a job.

As we entered into 2021 we became River Garden Flowers and started to grow 1000's of flowers for florists, flower lovers and weddings

We are beginning our 5th year as flower farmers and i can proudly say that i have found my thing.
